Team GER with manager Matt were searching for a qualified rider on the transfer market for a long time. It was important for the team to make sure that the rider is the right fit for their team in terms of riding skills and personality. Manager Matt said: "After many days and nights of going through different teams we finally found the rider we were looking for and were able to convince Gamal Fahad (Yemen) to leave the Top Division and join our team. We told him that our team has very high ambitions for the future. We can offer him a great atmosphere and that he would be a big asset to our team."
It looks like Team GER made a great deal with the very talented Gamal Fahad that had not really made the breakthrough in the Top Division. However, in Team GER he is already paying back the trust the manger put into him. Right away, he took a victory in his first Time Trial in Aalborg.
Manager Matt is convinced that Gamal is a great rider that has still a bright future coming up. The team is optimistic that they can finally make the jump to the Zyte Division soon and is excited to see where they can go from there. It will definitely be interesting to see how the team will develop over the next few years. Good luck to them!
